101Temptations

Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve had a fascination with baking. I would love sitting on our kitchen counter watching my mom, in her white apron, create the most amazing deserts.  

 

Before long, I became her little “sou” baker. She would get me involved in the fun by cracking eggs, pouring milk into a bowl, and even measuring ingredients.  My favorite moment was when she handed me the mixer forks to lick clean. I was in heaven!

 

Before long I was wearing my own apron and creating my own treats. It became my passion. I would bake just for the sheer joy of making something so incredibly good and then sharing them with my family and friends. Before long, I was getting requests to bake birthday cakes and deserts for family and corporate events. 

 

In 2012, I joined my family in a fundraising climb of Mount Kilimanjaro and committed to raising funds to support The Sanfilippo Children’s Research Foundation (SCRF), a charity started by our family, www.alifeforelisa.org.   That year I put a flyer together with a variety of my favourite sweets for friends and family to purchase over the holiday season, and raised over $5,000!  101Temptations was born.  

 

Here I am ten years later and my passion for baking remains  with proceeds still going to support The SCRF.  My mom has joined me to create tasty sweets and together we have raised over $35,000 for The SCRF to date through our efforts. No project is too large for us. We use only the purest ingredients and guarantee your complete satisfaction.
